Owner Bio
Lynda Ratliff has a diverse background spanning time and space. She grew up in a small town in upstate New York. Her parents owned a small restaurant, where she learned her strong work ethic. Her passion for sports played a role in those same work habits. She moved to Florida to attend college and joined ROTC. After graduating with a degree in Sports Management, receiving her commission in the Regular Army, and her wedding (all in three days), she and her husband embarked on an amazing military life. Her military experience included Airborne School, Northern Warfare School, and work as an Adjudant General in the 13th COSCOM at Fort Hood, TX. She resigned her commission as a CPT when they started their family but continued serving in leadership roles as an Army Spouse. She pursued a fitness career as a personal trainer, where she needed regular CPR Training. When she saw a need for improved speed, agility, and flexibility in youth sports, she opened her own business, Fit to Win, LLC, training several athletic teams and hundreds of youth. With the CPR classes she took, she realized the need for instructors in this field who would teach CPR to a high standard. Practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. Lynda became a BLS Instructor so she could impact more lives. Her passion grew as she worked with more people in the CPR and AED Industry, which led her to open Lifesaving Results.
